Process
Step 1:
Decide on where you would like to go and visit in Mexico first. Traveling in a foreign country is very different than that of the United States. According to the grant, you must visit a total of 10 locations/events, 8 of which are required and the remaining 2 are left up to your discretion. Remember to plan a few extra, just in case if an event/location doesn't fit into your budget.

Step 2:
Now you should price your flights, lodgings, travel routes by writing down the flight times, numbers, locations, hotel names/prices, roads, and cities to be visited. The grant has designated you with an individual budget of $2,800 to cover all travel, food, lodging, and admissions. Remember to stay within your budget, but still enjoy yourself.

Step 3:
Now that you have collected all of your information, begin writing about the experience as if you are actually fulfilling it (Journal Format). Open a separate document and title it "Diario" with your name on it. This will be your Journal Submission for the the grant. You will need write down everything from your itinerary and be sure to record your entries in the 1st person in Spanish. It needs to read like a real journal of experience. Your teacher will assign the due date in class for when you will need to print it out and turn it in. Suerte!
